Bodybuilding: eating like this would i still put on muscle and lose fat?

Im gunna start gettin more serious into the whole bodybuilding side of things as to build muscle and lose weight. I am already a big guy with alot of muscle but im still “Fat”. Ive recently lost 5st over the past 8 months …. gone from 24st 3lbs —> 19st4lbs

Im going to run for 20-30mins everyday and do 30-40mins weight workout. Now for my diet im vegetarian … although i do eat fish :) I was wondering by cutting the carbs and keeping high on the protien but still sticking to around 1200kcals a day would i be benefitting from muscle gain and weightloss???

I dont eat:

Junk food (sweets chocolate any other typical fatty foods etc)
No Cheese
No Butter
No bread
No Meat other than fish

I still may involve small amount of egg pasta in some meals … if i do its a very small amount (50g).

Any advice, idea, suggestions etc are welcome :)

I think you may need to eat a bit more calories and a slight amount of fat. Cutting out fat completely is bad. Your muscles need a certain amount of fat to expand. Also, cutting out carbs all together is also bad
because carbs are a fuel for your muscles as well as your metabolism.
Definitely get as much protein as you can.

I would say try to get your diet to about 2,000 calories a day max. Because if you arent eating enough to keep your body fueled, you will do yourself more harm than good.
