Bodybuilding Health Issues

What are some vegetarian protein alternatives for bodybuilding ?
It’s like this. I wanted to put on some muscle. I researched and discovered that I need physical exercise as well as proteins sources. So I started taking quail eggs. Results are showing up slow but steady, and I’m pleased.
But, do to some health issues, my doctor told me not to eat any meat, eggs or dairy products for the next two months.
I would like to know if I can gain proteins from any vegetables in order to continue building up muscles? What should I eat instead of animal proteins?

They make protein powders that are okay for vegetarians look into Casein (egg) protein powders and also Gamma (soy) protein powders. Whey is also good but Im not quite sure if it would qualify as dairy because whey protein is a co-product of the cheese making process.
